PSI is ESA Friendly
Phoenix Sports Institute (PSI) is built for Arizona homeschool and ESA families who want a structured environment for student-athletes. PSI does not replace your school or curriculum — families choose the academic program, and PSI provides supervised study blocks and a clear daily schedule that also includes training and student development.
What “ESA Friendly” Means at PSI
PSI is organized around clear blocks of time and clearly described services. Academics are completed using a family-selected curriculum, and other PSI services occur in separately scheduled blocks.
- Families choose and control the academic curriculum
- PSI provides supervised study blocks for that outside curriculum
- Training and other services are scheduled in separate blocks
- Clear descriptions support clean documentation
Academics Stay Family-Selected
PSI is not a school. Students bring their own curriculum (online school, homeschool program, or other approved learning pathway). During academic blocks, students focus on coursework in a structured environment.
- Supervised work time for the curriculum you choose
- Consistent schedule and accountability for students
- Quiet, structured study environment designed for focus
Clear Scheduling and Service Separation
PSI uses scheduled blocks so academics and services do not blur together. This keeps the day organized and helps families maintain clarity around what is academic work versus training and development.
- Academic study blocks are separate from training blocks
- Performance sessions include strength, speed, agility, conditioning, and power development
- Life blocks reinforce leadership, routines, and real-world skills
- Fuel (nutrition) habits are reinforced through simple standards
- Service projects are scheduled through recurring community initiatives
PSI+ (Partnerships & Community Support)
PSI+ is the fundraising, partnership, and sponsorship arm that supports scholarships, equipment needs, and community initiatives connected to Phoenix Sports Institute.
Charitable giving for PSI+ is supported through PPF as fiscal sponsor under 501(c)(3), which allows eligible contributions to be tax-deductible when made through the PSI+ giving pathway.
- Scholarship support for student-athletes and families
- Equipment and facility needs
- Community initiatives and service projects
- Local business partnerships and sponsorships
